The Iviron Monastery is an Eastern Orthodox monastery on Mount Athos, where it holds third place in hierarchy. It was founded in the 10th century and it is related to the presence in Mount Athos of the great Iberian family of Tornikios. Its library hosts more than 20,000 printed items, including incunables and early printed books, as well as more than 2,300 manuscripts.
