The Library of the Filekpaideytikos Syllogos Adrianoupoleos was established in 1872 in Adrianoupoli and was active until 1922, the Asia Minor Catastrophe. In 1924 it was reestablished in Thessaloniki. Since 2012 the library is based in Nea Orestiada and has incorporated other collections from the Asia Minor area including historical documents, manuscripts and early printed books.
